Content policy

Effective August 17, 2026

This policy applies to everything published on Veocast — titles, artwork, descriptions, profiles, comments, and ratings. It is part of our terms of service. Creators agree to it every time they submit a title.

What belongs on Veocast

Original movies and series you hold full rights to — features, shorts, documentaries, music films, and episodic work — made with AI tools in whole or in part. If you made it, you own it, and it was made to be watched, it belongs here. Titles that are mostly repurposed material, slideshows, screen recordings, or padded to reach a runtime will not be approved.

Rights, likeness, and voice

You must own or have licensed every element of your work: footage, images, music, scripts, performances, voices, and likenesses. A license for the score, a release for the performance, consent for the face on screen. This applies equally to AI-generated elements — a voice cloned from a real person, a character trained on a real actor's likeness, or a scene reproducing a copyrighted work needs the same permission a filmed version would. Depicting a real person without their consent in a way that could mislead viewers, defame them, or place them in a sexual or degrading context is not allowed, regardless of how it was produced. Public figures may appear in clear parody, commentary, or documentary context.

Prohibited content

Sexual content involving minors, or content that sexualizes minors in any way, real or generated — removed immediately and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and law enforcement.
Non-consensual intimate imagery of any person, real or generated, and pornography. Non-explicit nudity with artistic purpose is allowed with an 18+ rating.
Incitement to violence, credible threats, terrorist or violent extremist content, and content that promotes hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or similar characteristics.
Content that primarily infringes others' work — re-uploads, re-edits, dubs, or compilations of material you do not own.
Deceptive content presented as real: fabricated news footage, impersonation of real people or organizations, and material designed to mislead about elections, public health, or emergencies.
Instructions for serious harm — making weapons or explosives, producing illegal drugs, or self-harm and suicide encouragement.
Spam, scams, malware, and titles whose main purpose is to drive traffic elsewhere.

Ratings and metadata

Choose an age rating that honestly reflects your title's violence, language, sexual content, and themes; we may change it. Titles, descriptions, cast lists, and artwork must describe the actual work — no misleading thumbnails, invented credits, or claims about awards or press that were not earned. Artwork must meet the same standard as the title itself.

Profiles and comments

Profiles, comments, and ratings must follow the same rules. Profile images are screened automatically and rejected if they contain nudity, gore, hate symbols, or drug use. Do not harass other users, post their private information, impersonate anyone, or leave spam or fake reviews. We remove community content that breaks these rules and may restrict or terminate the accounts responsible.

Review and enforcement

Every submission is reviewed by a person before it goes live, typically within 24 hours. Titles that violate this policy are rejected with a note explaining why, and published titles found in violation are removed. Anyone can flag a title with the Report button on its watch page; every report is stored and reviewed. Depending on severity we may warn, remove the title, withhold related earnings, or terminate the account, and repeated violations lead to termination. If you believe we made a mistake, reply to the decision email or write to legal@veocast.ai and a different reviewer will take a second look.

Licensed titles

Some titles on Veocast are published by Veocast under license from their rights holders and stream through the rights holder's official upload, with a link back to the source on the title page. Questions about those titles, including requests to update or remove them, go to legal@veocast.ai.

Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe a title on Veocast infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent at legal@veocast.ai or by post to Lexbill LLC, Attn: Copyright Agent, 30N South Gould Street, STE N, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) the notice must include:

Identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed, or a representative list if there are several.
The location of the material on Veocast — a link to the title page — and, for a series, which episodes.
Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly, notify the creator, and forward them a copy of the notice. The creator may send a counter-notice to the same address with their name, address, telephone number, and email; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that they have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for their address (or, if outside the United States, for Wyoming) and to accept service from the complainant; and their signature. We forward counter-notices to the complainant, and unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days.

Knowingly false notices and counter-notices carry liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). We terminate the accounts of creators who repeatedly infringe.
